Plant Testing

CPCS and NPORS training and testing are conducted in accordance with published course objectives and learning outcomes. Testing can be completed at an approved local test centre or at a customer's site (must meet the test criteria).  For CPCS tests there is a notification period of 3 days and for NPORS tests there is a notification period of 2 days.

If you require a CPCS Operators Card, the candidate needs to have passed a Health and Safety touch screen test before attempting the Theory Test.  Once the Theory Test has been completed the candidate needs to successfully complete a Practical Assessment.

Once the tests have been successfully completed the candidate will be issued an Operators Card.   This is a record of training/assessment an individual has undertaken to prove their ability to safely operate or drive an item of plant machinery. Candidates can upgrade their Operators Card to a Competent Operators Card by completing an NVQ Level 2 in Plant Operations.

If you would like more information on the different card schemes available please click on the links below.
